Create Beautiful Flower Arrangements

Florist-quality arrangements without the florist price.
An arrangement or bouquet from a florist is worth every penny for a special event or a gift but buying from a florist regularly can really add up! With quality flowers/plants at our local grocery store for a fraction of the price of the florist, this DIY is such a great option for the everyday arrangement.
What you need:
- A turn table (mine is from the dollar store)
- Scissors
- Fresh flowers
- Greenery - these are actually faux stems from afloral. This is my favorite trick for adding greenery to grocery store flowers
- Large vase (mine is from HomeSense)
Steps:
- Fill your vase with fresh water and place it on the turntable – you will use the turntable to ensure the arrangement looks good from all angles.
- Add your greenery. These are actually faux stems from afloral; this is my favorite trick for adding greenery to grocery store flowers.
- Then add the largest blooms; these will add the base for the smaller flowers.
- Then add wispy stems and taller branches for interest. Be sure to remove any additional leaves.
- Finally, tuck the remaining stems of greenery at various points in the middle of the arrangement. Give your arrangement a final spin and check the balance; I personally like my arrangements to be very natural, but you might prefer a bit more of a uniform look.
